Nick started his career production radio for LBC and Sky sports. He then took up the position as editor for question time for six years, during which time he doubled the viewer ratings by increasing the panellists and changing the program time (from 11 to 10:30pm) which created a more lively programme, and helped to engage the public in political discourse. He built on this experience during his time at Intelligence Squared. In his role as CEO he helped cement the brand as a truly global player in debates and live events. Proof of this success is the ten debate series he then created as Executive Producer for BBC World News which broadcasts to an audience of over 80 million people across the globe.
He worked as a senior Media Training Consultant and Freuds, a well established PR company based in London and whilst working there, he trained and advised high profile individuals such as, Sir Tim Bernen-Lee and Heston Blumenthal and companies including Mars, ASDA and Walmart.
He advised the ex Prime minister David Cameron just before he entered office. Acting as head of presentation, he aided the future Prime Minister in some essential debates leading up to the election.
He left his position there to establish W11 Media, which so far has trained CEO's from billion pound businesses including CMR Surgical and BBH Partners. All this experience means Nick has a comprehensive understanding of the media industry and to communicate with clarity and impact. From this understanding he can create bespoke media training programmes tailored to you as an individual and as a company.
